RLM Tax & Accounting, Inc. (“RLM”) may use SMS (text messaging) to communicate with clients and contacts regarding:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders for tax or accounting services;

• Requests for documents or information needed to support your account or engagement;

• Notifications of account updates, deadlines, or status changes;

• Business-related communications, including vendor messaging and client service updates.

 

2. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile number to RLM, whether through written communication, electronic form submission, or by conducting business with RLM, you consent to receive SMS messages as described in this policy.

• This consent is considered granted when you provide your number for contact purposes during service engagement or interaction with RLM.

• Message frequency may vary; subscribers may receive up to 10 messages per week.

• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

If you prefer not to receive text messages, you may opt out at any time (see the “Opt-Out Process” section below).

 

3. Privacy of Your Information

RLM is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, share, or distribute your mobile telephone number or SMS opt-in data to third parties for marketing or any other purposes. Your mobile contact information is used solely for legitimate business communications between you and RLM.

Clients or contacts may opt in to receive SMS messages by:

• Providing their mobile number during onboarding or while engaging RLM for services;

• Texting a designated keyword (e.g., “RLM”) to 715-423-4500 to enroll.

By providing your mobile number and consenting verbally or via text message enrollment, you agree to receive automated SMS notifications from RLM. 5. Message Frequency

Clients may receive up to 10 messages per week, depending on service activity and communication needs. Frequency may vary during peak times such as tax season.

 

6. Charges and Fees

Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. RLM is not responsible for any charges incurred as a result of SMS communications.

 

7. Opt-Out Process

If you no longer wish to receive SMS messages from RLM, you may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any of our messages.
Alternatively, you can contact us directly by phone or email, providing your name and mobile number, and request removal from the SMS list.
After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed.
